an exhibition & project space
Curious Matter was co-founded by Raymond E. Mingst with fellow artist Arthur Bruso in 2007. The gallery offers opportunities to artists at all career stages. Inquiry-based group shows are a cornerstone of the program. Each exhibition theme serves as a departure point—artworks may intersect with the subject under investigation in myriad ways, explicit and covert. Curious Matter publishes catalogues, artist monographs and broadsides.
